“An essential part of working with others is curiosity, creativity, and exploration- partnering with our clients on a path of discovery. Each person is an amalgam of experience presenting in a certain way at a certain time, a presentation that will be different in the next moment.”

  YOGA THERAPY & AYURVEDIC COUNSELING

(ALSO TEEN THERAPY, see below)

Over the years I have treated many people in various stages of dis-ease in life. I have spent years counseling and exploring the roots of imbalances from both ayurvedic and yogic perspectives. Diet and lifestyle are huge influences to our well-being, as well as our psycho-spiritual state. This approach to balance and health is holistic, takes time and devotion, and is a deep exploration into all areas of your ‘self’ within the matrix of your environment.

As a yoga therapist with a specialization in counseling and mental health, combined with somatic work and ayurvedic principles, I aim to teach, guide and reveal the practices which soothe our souls. I do the exploration with you to unravel the physical binds and tensions and together we work to release the somatic emotional wounds which inhibit us from fully actualizing and realizing ourselves, our highest authentic intentions and our fundamental presence. It is complex and yet rewarding work.

My dedication to Ayurveda and many years of being both a student and teacher of Yoga have immersed me in both the practical and spiritual paths of this twofold sisterhood.

My goal is always to take my experience and the ancient teachings and apply them to an ever evolving, complex and often stressful, contemporary world. Yoga therapy combined with Ayurvedic medicine offers a many faceted approach to coping with the weighty demands of our sometimes ‘overwhelming’ world, society, collectivity and individuality.

It is very possible to live a purposeful and meaningful dharmic life. Our wounds can be our blessings and our lives a unique and curious journey. We just all need tools and to be able to recognize the path ‘Home’.

INDIVIDUAL Yoga/Ayurveda Therapy sessions, 90 mins $150

I also offer TEEN YOGA THERAPY sessions. 1 hour $100

Teen sessions are only 1 hour so that they are not overwhelmed. In my experience, teens respond extremely well to learning varied practices to help them navigate the common anxieties and stresses of a confusing time in life in an overwhelming world. Trust is at the core of these appointments, playfulness is encouraged and a deep listening to their fears is essential. They are commonly my favorite clients.

I request all clients honor a 24 hour cancelation policy.
